  7. 10 egg whites

  8. 1 1/4 teaspoons cream of tartar

  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  10. 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  11. 1/2 cup sugar

  12. 1 cup cake flour

  13. 2 cups fresh raspberries

  14. In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until frothy; beat in cream of tartar until

  15. soft peaks form. Add the extracts. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff,

  16. scraping bowl occasionally. Sift flour over beaten whites; sprinkle with

  17. berries. Gently fold flour and raspberries into batter until well mixed.

  18. 10-in. tube pan. Bake at

  19. 325 degrees for minutes or until lightly browned and entire top appears dry. Immediately

  20. 1 hour. Yield:
