  6. 2 Cups Vanilla Wafers, Fine Crush

  7. 1 Cup Ground Toasted Almonds

  8. 1/2 Cup Butter -- melted

  9. 1/2 Cup Sugar

  10. 12 Ounces Milk Chocolate Chips

  11. 1/2 Cup Milk

  12. 1 Each Env. Unflavored Gelatin

  13. 16 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

  14. 1/2 Cup Sour Cream

  15. 1/2 Teaspoon Almond Extract

  16. 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream, Whipped

  17. NOTE: Garnishes to include whipped cream and chocolate shavings .

  18. In large bowl, combine vanilla waver crumbs, almonds, butter and sugar; mix

  19. 9-inch springform pan, covering bottom and 2 1/2 inches

  20. up the sides. Set aside. Melt over hot (not boiling) water milk chocolate

  21. chips; stir until smooth. Set aside.

  22. Pour milk into small saucepan; sprinkle gelatin on top. Set aside for 1

  23. minute. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves. Set

  24. aside. In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and melted chocolate

  25. chips; beat until fluffy. Beat in gelatin mixture and almond extract. Fold in

  26. 3 hours

  27. knife around edge of cake to separate from pan; remove rim. Garnish with

  28. whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired. Makes 1 9-inch Cheesecake
