  1. 1 lavash

  2. 1 tablespoon(s) cornmeal , coarse grind is best

  3. 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil

  4. 1 pear , Anjou is best

  5. 1/2 cup(s) provolone cheese

  6. 1/3 cup(s) gorgonzola cheese , (or substitute blu cheese if you prefer)

  7. 7 basil leaves , torn ito strips

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Dust pizza stone or pan with cornmeal. Place lavash on cornmeal dusted pan and brush lavash with olive oil. Top lavash by layering provolone cheese, sliced pears, Gorgonzola and finally with torn basil leaves. Bake until cheese is bubbly, about 5 minutes. Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes and cut into triangles.

  2. Serve as immediately as a hot appetizer.
