  1. --cake-- 2 cups flour

  2. 2 cups sugar

  3. 2 sticks oleo

  4. 1 cup water

  5. 1/2 cup buttermilk

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 1 teaspoon soda

  9. --icing: -- 1 stick oleo

  10. 3 tablespoons cocoa

  11. 1/3 cup buttermilk

  12. 1 pound powdered sugar

  13. 1 teaspoon vanilla

  14. 1 cup nuts --

  15. 20 minutes at

  16. 400 degrees. Immediately start making icing. Use same pan used for cake.

  17. Icing: Boil oleo, cocoa and buttermilk until slightly thickened. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread on hot cake.
