  1. Ingredients :

  2. 1 (16-ounce) can black beans, drained

  3. 1 tablespoon tahini, optional

  4. 3 tablespoons olive oil

  5. 1 lime, juiced

  6. 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  1. Preparation :

  2. Drain and rinse Black Beans. Don't use the juices from the can in this recipe. It will muddy the flavor.

  3. Put Black Beans, Garlic, Tahini, Cumin and Salt in a blender or food processor and pulse until ingredients are well mixed.

  4. Add Olive Oil, Lime Juice and continue blending.

  5. Add as much water as necessary for the consistency you like. It should be similar to a bean dip in texture.
