  1. Ingredients :Serves 8-10

  2. 45-50 1 kg

  3. 125 ml Marinade :

  4. 3 tablespoons 6 cloves

  5. 150 g 125 ml 125 ml 250 ml Bamboo skewers

  6. Pork shoulder

  7. Tomato or banana ketchup

  8. Lime juice

  9. Garlic, chopped

  10. Dark brown sugar or palm sugar

  11. Vinegar

  12. Soy sauce

  13. Clear soft drink such as 7-up or Sprite

  1. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 30minutes then set aside.

  2. To prepare the Marinade, combine limejuice, garlic, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and soft drink in a bowl andset aside.

  3. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.

  4. Marinate pork in mixture for 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  5. Drain the meat and reserve Marinade.

  6. Thread 4-5 pieces of meat onto each skewer.

  7. Heat griller and grill pork overmedium-low heat, for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until lightlybrowned.

  8. Meanwhile, place the Marinade in a wok andbring to the boil. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.

  9. Remove from heat and blend in tomato orbanana ketchup, stirring until smooth.

  10. Brush both sides of the skewered pork withthe reserved Marinade.

  11. Continue grilling until pork is completelycooked and browned on both sides.

  12. If desired, reheat the Marinade and serveas a dip.
