  1. 1 dozen red bell peppers

  2. 1 dozen green bell peppers

  3. 1 dozen onions

  4. 3 T. salt

  5. 3 c. sugar

  6. 2 T. white mustard seed

  7. 1 tsp. celery seed

  8. 1 pint vinegar (2 c.)

  9. 10 minutes. Drain well, add remaining ingredients. Place in large kettle or pot; boil

  10. 15 minutes. Place in sterile jars when cool. Makes

  11. 7 1/2-pint jars.

  12. Sandwich Spread

  13. 1 gal. green tomatoes

  14. 1 qt. onions

  15. 1 qt. red and green bell peppers

  16. 1 1/2 c. salt

  17. 1 qt. vinegar

  18. 1 qt. sugar

  19. 9 oz. jar prepared yellow

  1. Grind tomatoes, onions, peppers and mix with salt. Let stand overnight.

  2. Drain well. Add vinegar and sugar, boil for 25 minutes. Stir in mustard. Pack in jars and seal. Can add 1 qt. salad dressing before sealing if desired
