  1. 3 tablespoons 45ml Water

  2. 1 tablespoon 15ml Light corn syrup

  3. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Sugar

  4. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Ground cinnamon

  5. 2 cups 292g / 10oz Walnut halves

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Butter

  1. Combine water, corn syrup, sugar and cinnamon in heavy saucepan.

  2. Cook without stirring, to hard crack stage. Gently fold in butter and walnuts.

  3. Spread on greased surface with spatula.

  4. Lift candy with spatula from greased surface.

  5. As it hardens, turn candy over; pull as thin as possible.

  6. Store in tightly covered can for 24 hours before serving.
