  5. Giblets from a turkey

  6. 20 oz Condensed chicken broth

  7. 1/2 c Margarine

  8. 1 c Onion; chopped

  9. 1 c Celery; chopped

  10. 3 tb Poultry seasoning

  11. 1 lg Cornbread, pan

  12. -make a few days in advance

  13. 4 sl White bread

  14. 3 Egg; slightly beaten

  15. 1 ts Pepper

  16. 1 c Pan drippings; from cooked

  17. -turkey

  18. Boil the turkey giblets in Salted water for 45

  19. minutes. pour off water and set giblets aside to cool.

  20. When cool, chop. In large saucepan, combine broth,

  21. margarine, onions, celery and poultry seasoning. Boil

  22. 15 minutes. Heat oven to

  23. 325 F. Grease a large

  24. baking pan with margarine and crumble cornbread finely

  25. into it. Tear white bread into small pieces and mix

  26. with corn bread by hand. Add eggs and pepper and mix

  27. well by hand. Pour boiling broth over corn bread

  28. mixture and mix well, adding half of the giblets. sake

  29. for about an hour, basting occasionally with pan

  30. drippings. Bake until lightly crispy around the edges.

  31. Put the remainig giblets in gravy and serve with

  32. turkey. --
