  2. 2 pounds chuck or round steak -- cut 1 in cubes 1/4 cup shortening

  3. 1 cup onion

  4. 1 small garlic -- minced

  5. 3/4 cup ketchup

  6. 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  7. 2 teaspoons salt

  8. 2 teaspoons paprika

  9. pepper to taste

  10. 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

  11. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  12. 1 1/2 cups water

  13. 2 tablespoons flour

  14. 1/4 cup cold water

  15. 1 package noodles -- (8 oz)

  1. Brown first 4 ingredients. Combine and mix ketchup,brown sugar,salt paprika,pepper,dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add mixture and 1 1/2 cup water to meat mixture.Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours. When meat is tender,mix flour and 1/4 cup cold water.Stir into meat mixture. Heat to boiling,stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute.Pour over hot cooked noodles.
