  1. 2 onion s, sliced and separated into rings

  2. 3 tbsp. butter

  3. 12 oz. tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

  4. 1 egg , slightly beaten

  5. 1/2 tsp. salt

  6. 1 cup sour cream

  7. 1 tsp. poppy seed s

  1. Sauté onions in butter over low heat until soft; set aside. Separate the biscuits and arrange in an ungreased 8" cake pan; press together to cover the bottom completely. Spoon onions over biscuits. Blend egg, sour cream and salt; spoon over onions and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve warm.
