  1. 1 pound boneless chicken breasts and/or thighs, skin removed, cut into bite sized pieces

  2. 3 cups chicken broth

  3. 1 cup frozen small whole onions

  4. 1 cupsliced celery

  5. 1 cup thinly sliced carrots

  6. 1 teaspoon paprika

  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

  9. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  10. 2 cups sliced or halved mushrooms

  11. 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste

  12. 1/4 cup water

  13. 3 tablespoons cornstarch

  14. 2 cups frozen green peas

  1. Combine first 11 ingredients in a large slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or until vegetables are tender. Combine water and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring until smooth and well blended blended. Add the cornstarch mixture and frozen peas to slow cooker; stir to blend. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes longer.

  2. Serves 6 to 8.
