  1. 1 cup butter, softened

  2. 1/2 cup sugar

  3. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  4. 2 eggs

  5. 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix

  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  7. 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  8. 1 cup quick-cooking oats

  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  10. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  11. 1 cup malted milk balls, chopped

  12. 3/4 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips

  1. Toffee Malted Cookies Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add pudding mix and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in malted milk balls and toffee bits (dough will be stiff).

  2. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks. Yield: 7 dozen.
