  1. 1 pound smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

  2. 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained

  3. 1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained

  4. 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained

  5. 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

  6. 3 medium carrots, thinly sliced

  7. 2 small onions, sliced into rings

  8. 1/2 cup dry red wine or beef broth

  9. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  10. 2 garlic cloves, minced

  11. 1-1/2 teaspoons dried thyme

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; transfer to an ungreased 3-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 375° for 60-70 minutes or until the carrots are tender. Yield: 9 servings.
