  7. 2 1/2 Cups Unbleached Flour

  8. 1/2 Cup Sugar

  9. 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

  10. 1 Teaspoon Salt

  11. 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon -- ground

  12. 3/4 Cup Milk

  13. 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

  14. 2 Each Eggs; Lg

  15. 1 1/2 Cups Apples; Cooking,

  16. 2 Cups Cheddar; Sharp -- shredded

  17. 3/4 Cup Walnuts -- chopped

  18. NOTE: Apples should be the cooking type (sour not sweet eating

  19. apples).

  20. 350 degrees F. and grease and flour a

  21. 9 X 5-inch loaf

  22. pan. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the

  23. milk, oil, and eggs. Stir until thoroughly combined. Gently stir in the

  24. 1 hour and 15 minutes in

  25. the preheated oven until loaf is browned and sounds hollow when tapped on

  26. the bottom. Cool in the pan on a rack for 5 minutes. Remove from the pan

  27. and cool to room temperature, on a wire rack, before slicing.
