  4. mixed vegetables, chopped thin - 2 cups

  5. ginger finely chopped or paste - 1 tsp

  6. garlic finely chopped - 1 tsp

  7. rice - 1 cup

  8. soy sauce - 1 tbsp

  9. vinegar - 1 tbsp

  10. oil - 1 tbsp

  11. Salt - 1 tsp or according to taste.

  12. Water - 1 1/2 cups

  1. Cook the rice till just done. cool.

  2. Heat oil in a wok. Keep the flame high.

  3. Add onions. Stir for 1 minute.

  4. Add ginger and garlic. Stir.

  5. Add cabbage, carrots, capsicum one by one stirring a little every time.

  6. Add the soy sauce and vinegar. Mix well.

  7. Add the cooked rice and salt to taste and mix well.

  8. You can make it a spicy fried rice if you like by adding more pepper powder and red chili powder.

  9. Add more vinegar or soya sauce if you prefer that.
