  1. Ingredients :

  2. 1 1/4 cup White wine or Beer

  3. 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

  4. 2 cups Swiss Cheese, shredded

  5. 1/4 cup Flour

  6. 1 pinch Garlic Powder

  7. 3/4 teaspoons Salt

  1. Preparation :

  2. Combine Swiss and Cheddar cheese in a zip lock bag or bowl.

  3. Mix flour in with cheese and toss to coat lightly, Shake off any excess.

  4. In a medium pot, Heat Beer or Wine until simmering, don't let it reach a boil , keep at a simmer.

  5. Slowly add the shredded cheese in small handfuls, stir continuously while adding.

  6. The cheese will look lumpy at first but it will start to smooth out as you add more cheese.

  7. Stir in a pinch of Garlic Power and 3/4 tsp. of Salt.

  8. Put into a Fondue Pot to keep warm.

  9. Serve fondue with cubes of Bread, Vegetables and Apple slices Makes about 2 3/4 cups
