  1. Mashed Potatoes

  2. (serves 12-14)

  3. 2 1/2 lbs red potatoes

  4. 2 1/2 lbs Idaho potatoes

  5. 10 oz butter or butter substitute like Move Over, Butter

  6. 1-1 1/4 cup bottled horseradish sauce

  7. 1 1/2 cups whipping cream or whole milk (or 2% milk)

  8. salt and ground black pepper

  9. Wash potatoes well, leaving the skins on, and cut in half. Transfer

  10. to a large pot or kettle and cover with water. Bring to a boil,

  11. lower heat to a simmer, and cook until very tender, about 25 min.

  12. Drain potatoes well. Do not peel them. Add butter, horseradish

  13. sauce, milk, salt, and pepper and mash until creamy but still

  14. slightly lumpy.
