  1. 2 large eggs

  2. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  3. 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

  4. 2 tablespoons frozen concentrated apple juice -- unsweetened

  5. 2 cups unbleached white flour

  6. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  7. 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  8. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  9. 2 cups unsweetened granola --see note

  10. To prepare homemade, unsweetened granola, combine equal amounts of any of the following: rolled oats, chopped nuts, flaked coconut, finely chopped dried fruit, seeds.

  11. 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes or until firm to the touch and bottoms are browned. Cool on wire racks.
