  2. EASY CHERRY PUDDING

  7. 1/2 cup margarine

  8. 1 cup flour

  9. 1 cup sugar

  10. 2 tsp

  11. 3/4 cup milk or water

  12. 1 1lb can pitted

  13. cherries with syrup 1/2 cup sugar Melt the margarine

  14. and place in a baking pan.

  15. 1 cup only

  16. milk/water together. Pour on top of the melted

  17. margarine. DO NOT MIX!

  18. Pour the cherries with the syrup over the flour/milk

  19. mixture. DO NOT MIX! Sprinkle the 1/2 cup suger over

  20. the entire mess, and bake in a 350 degree oven for one

  21. hour.

  22. This can be served either hot or cold. If served hot,

  23. icecream would definately not detract from this dish.

  24. Variations:

  25. Basically any kind of canned fruit can be used. I've

  26. made plum pudding (a la Little Jack Horner), pineapple

  27. pudding, whatever come to mind and off the shelf.

  28. Just remember that if the fruit has pits, to remove

  29. them.

  30. I tried this once with fresh fruit, and it just didn't

  31. work. This is one of those dishes meant for canned
