  2. 3 cups chopped pears (about 2 lbs)

  3. 1 large orange

  4. 3/4 cup drained crushed pineapple

  5. 1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries (3 oz bottle)

  6. 1/4 cup lemon juice

  7. 1 pkg low sugar pectin

  8. 3 1/4 cups sugar, divided

  9. Peel, core and chop pears. Peel orange, remove seeds and chop.

  10. Combine all fruits and lemon juice in kettle. Stir in pectin with

  11. 1/4 cup sugar. Place on high heat and stirring constantly bring to

  12. full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Add sugar, continue

  13. stirring, and heat again to full boil. Boil hard for exactly 1

  14. minute. Remove from heat; skim. Fill and seal containers. Process

  15. 10 minutes in BWB. Makes

  16. 6 or 7 half pints.
