  1. 1 ( 12 oz can,) chunk white tuna, drained, flaked.

  2. 1/2 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise.

  3. 1/2 cup reduced-fat, shredded cheddar cheese.

  4. 1 scallion, thinly sliced.

  5. 1/8 tsp garlic powedr.

  6. 1/8 tsp pepper.

  7. 1 ( 1 lb,) loaf whole wheat braed, or 7-grain bread, unsliced

  1. Heat oven to 350. In bowl, combine all ingredients, except bread. Mix well. Make 11 crosswise cuts in bread at even intervals, cutting to w/in 1/4" of bottom of bread w/out cutting through. Fill spaces between every other cut w/ equal amounts of tuna mix. Wrap in foil. Bake for 30 min, or until cheese is melted. Unwrap and slice completely through the unfilled cuts and serve warm.
