Cammy’s Strawberry Pie

    1. 1 baked pie shell

    2. 1 qt. strawberries

    3. 1 - 1 1/2 c. sugar

    4. 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

    5. 3 tbsp. cornstarch

    1. Spread cream cheese over bottom of pie shell. Cover with 2 cups strawberries. Mash 2 cups strawberries and add water if necessary to make 1 1/2 cups juice. Bring juice to boiling point. Combine sugar and cornstarch and add juice. Boil 2 to 3 minutes; cool. Pour over berries in shell. Chill several hour. Before serving cover with whipped cream.
