  1. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Lean ground beef

  2. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Onion - chopped

  3. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Green pepper - chopped

  4. 3 cups 711ml Tomato juice - hunt's no salt

  5. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Raw macaroni

  6. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Garlic powder

  7. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  8. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Chili powder

  1. Add Macaroni to boiling water and cook for 7 minutes. Cook the first 3 ingredients in cast-iron skillet until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Add tomato juice, macaroni, and spices. Simmer until liquid is almost absorbed.

  2. Note: Served with a salad, this makes a delicious meal.
