  2. 4 large onion -- sliced

  3. 1/4 cup cider vinegar

  4. 1/4 cup butter -- melted

  5. 1/4 cup margarine -- melted

  6. 1/4 cup boiling water

  7. 1/4 cup sugar

  8. (would use sugar substitute)

  1. Slice the onions and arrange in a 1 quart baking dish. Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the onions. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
