  1. 16 oz 454g Peach halves - drained

  2. 1/2 cup 80g / 2.8oz Packed brown sugar

  3. 1/3 cup 78ml Catsup

  4. 1/3 cup 78ml Vinegar

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Soy sauce

  6. 2 Garlic cloves - chopped

  7. 2 teaspoons 10ml Fresh ginger root - chopped

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  9. 1 Black pepper - fresh

  1. * Use a 16-ounce can of peaches, in syrup or in its own juice for a less sweet sauce.

  2. Put all the ingredients in a blender and run on high speed until smooth. Spoon sauce over meat, basting every 15 minutes with the drippings in pan.

  3. If used for outdoor grilling, baste after meat is about half cooked. Continue basting until meat is done.
