    1. 1/2 cup margarine -- or applesauce

    2. 1 1/2 cups sugar

    3. 2 eggs

    4. 3 tablespoons cocoa

    5. 2 cups flour

    6. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

    7. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    8. 1 1/2 cups applesauce, unsweetened

    9. 3/4 cup chocolate chips TOPPING

    10. 2 tablespoons sugar

    11. 1 cup nuts -- chopped - opt.

    12. 1/2 cup chocolate chips

    13. 1 teaspoon cinnamon

    1. Preparation : Mix cake ingredients as usual. Put into greased 9"x13" pan. Mix topping ings. and sprinkle over. Bake about 40 Min. at 350F.
