    1. Layer dry ingredients in a one quart jar along with a gift tag with baking directions.

    2. 1-1/4 cups granulated sugar

    3. 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts

    4. 3 (1.4 ounces) coarsely chopped white chocolate candy bars

    5. 2 cups all-purpose flour

    6. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    7. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

    8. Use a clean 1 quart jar and press each layer down firmly. Layer ingredients in the order given.

    9. Attach the following instructions:

    11. 375 F. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add

    12. 1/2 cup softened butter,

    13. 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until completely blended and smooth. Shape into walnut-sized balls and place on greased cookie sheets, about 2" apart. Bake

    14. 12 to 15 minutes, until tops are very lightly golden. Cool

    15. 5 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to racks to finish cooling.
