  4. 1 cup low fat cottage cheese

  5. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

  6. 4 tablespoons flour

  7. 1 teaspoon onion powder

  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  9. 4 ounces canned mushrooms -- drained

  10. 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese -- (shredded)

  11. --choice of filling--

  12. 8 ounces salad shrimp

  13. 1 tablespoon green onion tops -- chopped

  14. 8 ounces crab

  15. 1 teaspoon lemon rind

  16. 1/4 cup sliced almonds

  17. 15 1/2 ounces canned red salmon -- flaked

  18. 1/2 teaspoon dill weed

  19. 1 cup grated cheddar cheese -- instead of half the

  20. jack cheese

  1. In a blender combine first 7 ingredients. Blend until smooth. Arrange cheese, seafood, mushrooms and seasoning in quiche dish. Pour blended ingredients over. Bake 350F for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. For variety make one half quiche filled with shrimp and other side salmon, then pour blended mixture over all. Excellent cold.
