  4. 8 tablespoons 120ml Unsalted chilled butter

  5. 3/4 cup 148g / 5 1/5oz Sugar - divided

  6. 1 cup 237ml Heavy cream

  7. 6 cups 1422ml Peeled fresh or frozen peaches

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Cornstarch

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground cinnamon

  10. 1 Grated nutmeg

  1. Recipe Instructions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut in butter with pastry cutter or hands until it resembles coarse meal. Add 1/2 cup of the sugar and cream. Knead approximately 3 minutes and let rest. Toss fruit with cornstarch, remaining 1/4 cup sugar, and spices. Place fruit mixture in a 9- by 13-inch glass or ceramic baking dish. Cover with gobs of the cobbler dough. Bake 35 minutes or until lightly browned. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
