  1. 1 1/4 cups quick oats

  2. 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  3. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  8. 1 cup packed light brown sugar

  9. 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  10. 1/2 cup butter

  11. 1 egg

  12. 3/4 cup applesauce

  13. 1 cup chocolate chips

  14. 1 cup raisin s

  15. 1 cup chopped walnut s

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well with wire whisk and set aside.

  3. In large bowl, combine sugars with an electric mixer and beat at medium speed. Add butter and beat to form grainy paste. Add egg and applesauce; blend until smooth.

  4. Add dry ingredients, fruit and nuts. Blend lightly.

  5. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
