  1. 10-14 slices 1" thick french bread

  2. 1- 3oz. pkg. cream cheese

  3. 1- 29oz. can peach slices, drained

  4. 1/2 C. nuts, chopped

  5. 1 C. milk

  6. 1/3 C. maple syrup

  7. 3 eggs

  8. 2 Tbs. butter, melted

  9. 1 Tbs. sugar

  10. 1 tsp. cinnamon

  11. 1 tsp. vanilla

  12. 400 F. Spread cream cheese on both sides of bread. Lay slices in

  13. 9x13" baking pan. Prick bread

  14. 3-4 times each. Top with peach slices. Sprinkle nuts over peaches. Combine remaining ingredients with whisk. Pour over bread. Bake

  15. 20-25 minutes. Serves

  16. Fruit substitute: 1 large apple, cored, peeled, sliced for peach slices.
