  1. 1/4 cup 59ml Olive oil

  2. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ginger powder

  3. (or galangal root powder)

  4. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Granulated garlic

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Fennel pollen

  7. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Raw prawns (shrimp)

  1. Put olive oil (reserve 2 tablespoons), ginger, salt, garlic and fennel pollen into a bowl. Stir thoroughly. Add prawns, stir to ensure that each prawn is well coated.

  2. Saute shrimp in reserved olive oil over high heat in a large skillet. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve as an appetizer, side dish or on a bed of rice.

  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
