  1. 2 eggs

  2. 1 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour*

  3. 1 cup milk

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 450 F. Generously grease 6-cup popover pan or six 6-ounce custard cups.

  6. Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth (do not overbeat). Fill cups about 1/2 full.

  7. Bake 20 minutes.

  8. 350 F. Bake about 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.

  9. *Do not use self-rising flour in this recipe.

  10. Makes 6 popovers
