  1. 3/4c Water

  2. 1 c Sugar

  3. 1 Orange rind

  4. 3 Egg whites

  5. 1 3/4c Orange juice

  6. 1 tb Lemon juice

  7. 1/2c Heavy cream

  1. + Directions : Simmer water and sugar for 10 minutes. Grate and add orange rind. Cook 5 minutes more. Cool, then chill. In large bowl beat egg whites until foamy. Combine and stir in orange juice and lemon juice. Add cooled syrup and heavy cream. Stir freeze. Makes about 1 quart. Note: This recipe is for a 1-quart machine. Double or triple ingredients if needed for your machine.
