  3. 2 oz (50 g) fresh white breadcrumb s

  4. 3 oz (75 g) shredded suet

  5. 2 fl oz (55 ml) milk

  6. salt

  7. For the filling:

  8. 6 oz (175 g) raisin s

  9. 1 medium cooking apple (weighing about 6 oz/175 g), washed, cored and roughly chopped (no need to peel)

  10. 3 oz (75 g) dark soft brown sugar

  11. grated zest 1/2 lemon

  12. Kitchen foil measuring 10 x 14 inches (25 1/2 x 35 cm)

  13. Steamer.
