  7. 1/2 c finely chopped onion

  8. 2 tbsp butter or margarine

  9. 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

  10. 2 14 1/2 oz cans chicken broth

  11. 1 15 oz can solid pack pumpkin

  12. 1 tsp brown sugar

  13. 1/4 tsp salt

  14. 1/8 tsp pepper

  15. 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

  16. 1 c whipped cream

  17. In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Remove from

  18. the heat; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in broth, pumpkin,

  19. brown sugar, salt, pepper and nutmeg; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and 5 minutes. Add cream; cook for 2 minutes or until heated
