  1. 3 Ramen noodles - crushed

  2. 1 Sesame seeds

  3. 2 Slivered almonds The Dressing

  4. 1/2 cup 118ml Oil

  5. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Sugar

  6. 1/4 cup 59ml Cider vinegar

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Soy sauce Salt and pepper to taste

  8. 1 Green onions - chopped The Assembly

  9. 1 Napa cabbage - shredded The Noodle Mix (above) The Dressing (above)

  1. Recipe Instructions FOR NOODLE MIX: Combine and heat in 300F oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, watching that the mixture does not get too brown. Cool. Save half for the next time you make the salad. It keeps well in a zip-lock bag. FOR THE DRESSING: Combine and shake well to blend. FOR THE ASSEMBLY: When ready to serve, combine cabbage, dressing, and noodle mix and toss. Variation: 1 package skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Lawry's Fajita bottled marinade Tenderize thick parts of the chicken breast. Coat each side of chicken breast with marinade and refrigerate for several hours. Saute in frying pan for 3-5 minutes on each side. Slice thin and add to salad while hot and mix through. NOTES : This salad is a big hit with our family and always disappears at potlucks. -- Jamie
