  1. 3 cups(about 3 medium) pared and sliced Washington apples

  2. 2 cups diced rhubarb

  3. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  4. 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar

  5. 1/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats

  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  9. Whipped cream or ice cream

  1. Combine apples and rhubarb in shallow 2 quart baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.

  2. Spoon over fruit.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees F 25-30 minutes or until fruit istender. Serve with whipped cream.
