  1. 1-1/2 pounds ground beef OR frozen meatless crumbles

  2. 4 stalks celery, sliced

  3. 1 onion, chopped

  4. 4 cloves garlic, minced

  5. 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  6. 6 ounce can tomato paste

  7. 2/3 cup beef broth

  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  10. 2 teaspoons paprika

  11. 1 teaspoon dried marjoram

  12. 16 ounce can pork and beans, drained

  13. 16 ounce package frozen lima beans, thawed

  14. 1 cup flour

  15. 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

  16. 2 tablespoons ground almonds

  17. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  18. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  19. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  20. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  21. 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

  22. 1/3 cup butter

  23. 1/2 cup whole milk

  1. In large skillet, cook ground beef until partially cooked. Add vegetables; cook and stir until vegetables are tender: drain well. Add tomato paste, broth, salt, pepper, paprika, and marjoram. Add pork and beans and lima beans to beef mixture and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let simmer while preparing biscuits. For biscuits, mix flours, almonds, cheese, baking powder, salt, oregano, and parsley flakes into a medium mixing bowl. Cut in butter until particles are fine. Then add milk all at once, stirring, until dough forms. Place meat mixture into 9x13" glass baking dish. Top hot mixture with dough, dropping the dough onto the hot meat mixture with a large spoon. Bake at 425 degrees F for 25-35 minutes until casserole is bubbling and biscuits are golden brown.
