  1. 1Lb. fresh okra (small) (or frozen)

  2. 1Lb. lamb meat (or beef,veal) cubed

  3. 1can crushed tomato (16 oz)

  4. 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil

  5. 1Lg. onion

  6. 3 cloves mashed garlic Salt Pepper

  1. Saute lamb, onion and garlic in large pan watching carefully to prevent scorching. I cook the lamb in water until tender. At that point I add the okra and saute them for about three minutes. By that time the water has evaporated. Add the crushed tomato and some water. Salt and pepper to your liking. Many in my family have high blood pressure so it is not much. Once it boils bring heat down to a simmer and cook until okra is cooked. Serve with rice.
