  1. 2 Tlb. butter

  2. 1 1/2 lbs. beef tenderloin or sirloin

  3. 1 c. celery, cut in 2-inch lengths

  4. 5-6 green onions, cut in 2-inch lengths

  5. 2 med. sweet onions, sliced thin

  6. 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

  7. 8 oz. fresh spinach, lightly steamed

  8. 8 oz. can bamboo shoots. drained,sliced thin Cooked rice for 6 SAUCE:

  9. 1/2 c. beef broth

  10. 1/2 c. soy sauce

  11. 1 teas.

  1. Using a Zip lock steamer bag for microwave oven -slightly steam vegetables and arrange them on a large platter.(instead of spinach you can use 1 green pepper,sliced thin). Thinly slice meat across grain. Using electric skillet or a heavy iron skillet heat to 260^ (medium heat) Heat butter, add meat and brown lightly. Mix sugar,soy sauce and broth. Add half of this to the meat. Push meat to one side of pan and add vegetables, keeping each item separated. Heat only a few minutes. Add remaining sauce and cook a few more minutes. Serve over hot rice,
