  5. 3 lb Ground beef

  6. 1 lb Ground pork

  7. 1/4 lb Kidney fat, chopped fine

  8. 1 c Bread crumbs, day old

  9. 1 Onion, chopped fine

  10. 2 Egg yolks

  11. 1/4 lb Salt pork, chopped

  12. 3 tb Butter

  13. 1 tb Flour

  14. 1/2 ts Savory

  15. 1/2 c Cream

  16. Salt and pepper

  17. Fry onion in butter until transparent, not yellow.

  18. Combine the meat, kidney fat, salt pork, bread crumbs,

  19. onion, egg yolks, and seasonings and mix very

  20. thoroughly with your hand. Shape into a loaf, rub with

  21. butter and bake at 350F for one hour. Baste often. In

  22. the last 15 minutes, sprinkle flour on meat and add

  23. cream. --
