  1. 3 tbsp butter

  2. 1/2 tsp green chilli paste

  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped onions

  4. 3/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes

  5. 1/4 tsp chilli powder

  6. 1/4 tsp garam masala

  7. 1 tbsp chaat masala

  8. 1/2 cup boiled , peeled and finely chopped potatoes

  9. 1 cup kala chana (brown chick peas) / hara chana soaked and cooked

  10. salt to taste

  11. 1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped raw mangoes

  12. 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)

  13. 4 tsp lemon juice

  1. Heat the butter in a kadhai, add the green chilli paste and onions, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes or till the onions turn translucent.

  2. Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, garam masala and chaat masala, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Add the potatoes, chana, salt, raw mangoes, coriander and lemon juice, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring once in between.

  4. Cool slightly and pack in a tiffin box.
