  2. 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  3. 2-3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

  4. 1 large egg yolk

  5. 1-1/2 cup whole milk ricotta cheese- room temperature

  6. 3/4 lb. mild Italian sausage (browned and crumbled)

  7. 1 box (12 ounces) no-boil lasagna noodles (I like Barilla)

  8. 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded

  9. 1/4 to 1/3 cup grated Parmessano-Reggiano cheese

  10. 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  11. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (I like Pampered Chef's)

  12. 1 TB freshly chopped flat leaf parsley
