  1. 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine , softened

  2. 1 cup white sugar

  3. 1 (16 ounce) can hershey chocolate syrup

  4. 4 eggs

  5. 1 cup flour

  6. 1/2 cup chopped nuts

  7. 1 1/2 cups white sugar

  8. 6 tablespoons margarine

  9. 6 tablespoons milk

  10. 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  1. For the Brownies:.

  2. Cream butter and sugar.

  3. Add eggs and chocolate syrup. Mix until well blended.

  4. Add flour and mix well.

  5. Add nuts.

  6. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

  7. For the Frosting: 8 Boil sugar, margarine, and milk for 1 minute.

  8. Remove from heat and add l/2 cup chocolate chips.

  9. Stir until thick, then quickly spread over brownies (when brownies are cool). This frosting thickens quickly. ?
