  10. 1 ts Vanilla

  12. 1/2 c Water

  13. Boil molasses, sugar, salt, milk, water, and butter to

  14. hard ball stage (265

  15. 270 F). Add flavoring. Spread

  16. nuts over the bottom of a well-buttered pan. Pour

  17. taffy over nuts. Cool. Pull until stiff and creamy.
