  2. 3 large cooking apples -- peeled and thickly

  3. -- sliced 1/2 cup pitted prunes

  4. 3/4 cup raisins

  5. 1 orange -- peeled and -- sectioned

  6. 3 cups plus 3 tablespoons water -- divided

  7. 1/2 cup sugar

  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  9. 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  1. In a saucepan, combine apples, prunes, raisins, orange and 3 cups water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in sugar and cinnamon. Combine cornstarch and remaining water; stir into saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes. Chill. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
