  1. 16 chicken wings

  2. Marinade

  3. 1 tbsp. honey or syrup

  4. 4 tbsp. hoisin sauce

  5. 3 tbsp. warm water

  6. 3/4 tsp. salt

  7. 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  8. 2 garlic cloves , finely minced

  9. 1 spring onion , finely minced

  10. 1 slice fresh ginger , minced

  1. Marinate chicken wings for 15 minutes in marinade Heat oven to 180°C (360°F).

  2. Place chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade.

  3. Turn oven to broil and broil chicken wings five more minutes. Turn wings every two minutes to avoid burning.

  4. Serve hot or at room temperature.
