  7. 6 Bacon slices

  8. 1/4 pound Chicken livers -- diced

  9. 1 Medium onion -- chopped

  10. 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg

  11. 1/2 cup Chopped celery

  12. 1 Bay leaf

  13. 1/2 cup Chopped carrot

  14. 1 tablespoon Vinegar

  15. 6 tablespoon Butter or margerine

  16. 8 ounce Tomato sauce

  17. 1 pound Ground beef -- round

  18. 1 cup Beef boullion

  19. 1 teaspoon Salt

  20. 1 cup Sliced fresh mushrooms

  21. 1/2 teaspoon Oregano

  22. 1/2 cup Dry white wine

  23. Saute bacon in skillet; drain off all but 2 T fat.

  24. Add onion, celery, carrot and cook until tender.

  25. Add 2 T butter and the chicken livers. Brown lightly; add ground beef round.

  26. Cook 10-15 minutes, or until well browned. Stir in salt, oregano, nutmeg, bay

  27. leaf, vinegar, tomato sauce and boullion. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour. Saute

  28. mushrooms in remaining 4 T butter. Add to meat sauce, along with wine. Remove

  29. bay leaf. Simmer 1/2 hour longer.
